Get help with the holiday in the Valdosta GA area, and find charities or churches that help low income families. There are places that give free Christmas gifts, holiday food boxes for the parents, Thanksgiving or Christmas meal sites and more. The main programs range from Toys for Tots to Angel Tree and others. Find Christmas assistance programs in Lowndes or Bartow County.

There are food pantries and soup kitchens the give groceries (or serve hot meals) at Thanksgiving or Christmas. The annual Christmas toy drives are held throughout Valdosta Georgia, and they generally give children free gifts, games, books, electronics, Legos, clothes and other items. The parent needs to apply, but when donations allow, the child is given one or more toys for free. Games, books, dolls, toy trucks, tablets, and clothing goods too (shoes, shirts, etc.). This is the second major holiday program operator in the region. They offer free Turkey dinners (and may pass them out with all the toppings) to the low income. Other resources range from free Christmas gifts for kids to volunteers who visit seniors and bring them small presents. The Christmas help in part of Angel Tree. Clothes and other holiday items
Some of these charities and churches in Lowndes County may offer Christmas help too, along with meals, free holiday food boxes, and other goods.
