Free food banks, groceries and pantries in Pinellas County.

Get free food, meals, or groceries from St. Petersburg, Largo, Indian Rocks Beach, Pinellas Park, and Clearwater area (and Pinellas County wide) food banks. There are also hot meals from soup kitchens or Meals on Wheels, including during the holidays. Find free emergency food pantries, churches, and government hunger prevention programs in Pinellas County near you below.

There are programs for the low income, elderly, unemployed, needy, and working poor among others. Free groceries may be given away daily or today in Pinellas County. While more limited, qualified applicants may even get financial assistance from a food bank too or a referral to appropriate programs.

Some of the food banks in Pinellas County can provide more than just perishable or non-perishable food. Some locations can offer additional items such as clothing, baby supplies, personal hygiene items, cleaning items, detergent and almost all locations serve as a great place to get information and referrals from. Some locations also process application for public assistance such as WIC or SNAP food stamps.

There is also a referral number at the bottom of the page for more information on county resources. Never hesitate to call a non-profit or church for help. The counselors and volunteers at this sites are friendly, caring, and considerate, and assistance is confidential.

In addition to the city below, there are regional options too. They will offer meals, personal hygiene and other assistance across the county.

  • There is the community action agency (Opportunity Council) can provide information on state and county government benefits, including SNAP food stamps, free school lunches, and more.
