Pinal County free Christmas and holiday programs.

There are several churches and charity organizations in Pinal County that lower income families can turn to for free Christmas toys or food boxes or meals, including at Thanksgiving. Charities help less fortunate children as well as senior citizens enjoy the holidays by offering free gifts, food, meals, Turkey dinners, gift certificates and more.

The programs, including Angel Tree as well as Toys for Tots, are run by volunteer organization. Charities including the Salvation Army, Saint Vincent de Paul, Tri-Community Food Bank and also some are administered by local churches. They are not only trying to provide children with toys (such as games, dolls, books, and more) but the Pinal County agencies also want to ensure families have a free holiday meal, whether at Thanksgiving or Christmas. The assistance will help enrich the lives of residents living in or near poverty levels.

Applications for Christmas gifts or meals are accepted locally in Pinal County. The process also commences early, and bring proof of income, residency, and other supporting documentation.

Salvation Army has multiple locations and assistance programs in the region. Most focus on providing free holiday resources to a certain town or zip codes. They may run the Angel Tree service for free Christmas gifts or toys. Or Adopt A Family can give the entire family presents, food, hot meals, and other goods.

They run Christmas and holiday programs for people in the zip codes of 85121, 85172, 85122, 85147, 85193, 85145, 85194, 85123, 85130, 85131, and 85141. There is Angel Tree for gifts for children, hot meals, and home delivery for senior citizens. The charity also offers financial aid and other programs, with holiday programs for immigrants and Spanish speakers too.
     
  • Salvation Army has another site in Apache Junction Arizona. The location is 605 East Broadway, Apache Junction, Arizona. Main phone - (480) 982-4110. More on Salvation Army helps with Christmas. Social services, Thanksgiving meals, and Christmas programs are for the towns of San Tan Valley, Apache Junction, Gold Canyon, Queen Valley, and Queen Creek. Food, Christmas toys, and more, such as housing, is available from the church based group.

 

 

 

The Salvation Army provides other services too in Pinal County, no matter where the family lives. They include Adopt a Family as well as food baskets. Salvation Army Social Services are for low income families, single mothers, immigrants and other can register for Angel Tree. Gifts will be bought for the child by others. There can also be food boxes or gift certificates given out. Or free Thanksgiving turkey dinners are offered as well.

Free Toys for Tots in Pinal County
Low income families with children or teenagers can get free Christmas toys or gifts. There may be games, books, electronics, tablets, bikes, video games and more. In addition, clothes, shoes, sneakers, and other clothes can be passed out at Christmas. There are resources for Spanish speakers as well in the region, with applications in other languages. Society of Saint Vincent

F.A.I.T.H. Ministries

Tri-Community holiday free food and Meals
A regional non-profit food bank. They give out free Easter, Thanksgiving, and Christmas food boxes. There may be turkey, meat, desserts, and other holiday goods. More on Tri-Community food bank.
