Free health care clinics in Oklahoma.

Learn how health care centers, free community clinics, and charitable medical providers in Oklahoma, some that that may be near you, provide free or income-based medical care. There are programs that can help the low income, uninsured families or patients with limited health insurance.  Everything from physicals to check up, prescription medications, immunizations, emergency care and more is offered and find details below about free medical clinics in Oklahoma.

The goal is to allow all residents, regardless of their income, background, or ability to pay for services, access to free medical care for themselves as well as their families. No one is turned away as the centers are part of the Federally Government Qualified Health Center as well as Rural Health Clinics programs. All health care provided is of the highest quality and either free or low cost, including to people on SoonerCare. People with some income may need to pay a minimal amount towards their medical bills.

Each center that may be near you is staffed by medical professionals, doctors, and/or nurses who can provide a multitude of services. There is even specialty type care such as lab work, free eye exams for adults or children and much more. Even someone is beyond their capacity, then referrals are given to the adult or child who is the patient. Medicaid is often accepted for payment too.

Tulsa County

A list of sliding fee healthcare centers is below. All of them help people in need, including households living in poverty or that lack medical insurance. There is also the Oklahoma Charitable Clinics Association that has a list of clinics to try, with locations available in most parts of the state. Mobile wellness units / clinics are run by the OK State Department of Health. They visit different parts of the state, depending on the month. Basic care is available such as vaccines, free immunizations, STI checks, and of course referrals for more extensive medical needs. Central Church of Christ

The free clinic helps single moms, seniors, the elderly, disabled and others. Get free vision care, referrals for lab testing, cancer testing, hearing and dental screens, primary care and immunizations. They also offer help in applying for affordable insurance, Affordable Care Act Plans, Medicaid and more.

Choctaw Nation Health Clinic
A federal government qualified health center. They help Native Americans, the poor, uninsured and others. A wide variety of services are offered, such as Diabetes Wellness, Comprehensive diagnostic and ancillary services, stress testing, Primary Care, Ambulance services and more. Uninsured patients can also learn about, and apply for, free prescription drugs.

County Health Departments
Several Oklahoma Counties offer public health care. It tends to be immunizations, STD testing, pregnancy testing, and more basic care. Anyone from the homeless to fully insured can use them. The government human services offers TB skin tests, PAP Smears, Breast Exams, Sport physicals, and information on MEdicaid, Medicare, or other benefits like SNAP food stamps. They help the unemployed and working poor get the care they need.  The counties include

There are several in the state. They are all federal government qualified, free or low cost health care centers. They help the low income, uninsured, elderly and disabled among others. A wide variety of medical assistance programs are offered including Chronic Disease Management, Affordable Care Act Enrollment, Routine Primary Care, eye screenings, diabetes and high blood pressure management, help for asthma and more.

The free - affordable clinic supports Tulsa County. Get assistance such as Infant, child, adult and older adult care. Or make an appointment with a doctor for physicals, cancer screenings, x-ray, vision tests, obstetrics, or specialty referrals if needed. They do take Medicaid or Medicare as well as private health insurance and Christian Sharing Plans.
