Muscogee County food banks.

Whether a family needs short term help or long term assistance, Muscogee County based food banks can be an option. The locations will normally provide income qualified families and individuals with a bag of groceries or maybe a meal. But more importantly, volunteers from centers will direct the client to long term solutions. This ranges from employment to applications sites for SNAP food stamps in the Columbus Georgia area.

Not only can a family receive free or low cost, healthy food from a pantry but many sites offer much more. Based on donation levels, basic needs such as clothing or school supplies may be available at a pantry. Other goods may be holiday gift baskets or a Meals on Wheels service for the home-bound that live within the city of Columbus.
