Free holiday, Thanksgiving and Christmas assistance Kane County

Get free Christmas toys, food baskets, Thanksgiving turkey dinner, and other holiday help in Kane County. The main assistance programs from charities, churches, and non-profits like Toys for Tots are below. Low income families, the elderly, and single moms in Aurora Illinois, Geneva, and across Kane County can get help. Free gift cards, Christmas presents or trees, stocking stuffers, Thanksgiving food baskets and much more is offered.

Most of the assistance comes from one of four agencies. They include (1) Toys for Tots; (2) Salvation Army; (3) Fox Valley United Way; and other churches or charities, such as Catholic Charities. All of these groups reply on donations, including financial, as well as volunteers to help the low income.

Qualified low income families (or the elderly and struggling) can get free Christmas gifts such as books, games, clothes, toys, electronics, food baskets and more from Kane County programs. There are also Thanksgiving and Christmas meals. Find details below.

This is when children (and families) fill out their requests for help and hang them on trees. Donors adopt the family. Residents may get free gift cards, learn about shopping programs from stores like Wal-Mart or target, get clothing or toys for kids. Kane County Toys for Tots
Children under the age of 15 can get assistance. Free, unwrapped Christmas gifts or presents. There may be laptops, clothes, shoes, books, learning toys, dolls, trucks, Legos and so much more. The US Marine Corps sponsors Toys for Tots locally and work with companies and the public on it.
