There may be information on work from home jobs as well for those people looking for a few extra dollars. If a GED is needed, then classes will be arranged to help students study for that.
At the end of these workshops, the client will get support in finding a job, or locate legitimate work from home jobs. Each student who finishes the classes in Johnson County is assigned a mentor who offers support throughout the process. So it relies on a strong partnership of the individual and their mentor, but it can be instrumental in helping people break the cycle of poverty.
