Free Christmas and holiday assistance in Fresno County.

During the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays, low income families in Fresno County may be able to receive help. Find free Christmas toys or gifts for children as well as meals/food for families. Churches and charities provide Toys for Tots, Thanksgiving turkey dinners or Christmas meals, and other support. Other clients tend to be senior citizens in Fresno, and they often request a hot holiday meal as well as companionship with their peers or a volunteer.

What exactly is provided depends on donations as well as what the family's wish list is. But examples of the Christmas items in Fresno County may be games, small electronics, clothing, toys, and stockings. The Transitions Children’s Services will only support families and children that the non-profit has found to be qualified and they work with.
