Genesee County Michigan free food banks.

Food banks, pantries, and churches in Flint Michigan and Genesee County can provide a variety of assistance programs. There may be groceries, free boxes of food, and meals (including at Christmas and Thanksgiving) to the needy. Anyone who needs help can contact one of the distribution centers or free food pantries near them to receive free or low cost food. Also find an intake number at the bottom of the page for more programs.

The centers are mostly non-profits, and can provide the low income, needy, elderly, and others with all sorts of assistance. Not only may there be a box of groceries, but there may be clothing, free food, perishable items, holiday meals, baby formula, and much more. If a pantry can’t meet your need, they will often refer individuals to other local resources, or help them apply for government programs such as WIC or food stamps.
