Food pantries in Fayette and Coweta County.

Food pantries located across Fayette County provide assistance to the needy. The food banks and soup kitchens near you, including those in Coweta County, are focused on ending hunger in the region. Whether a child needs a meal or senior needs food brought to their home, services may be offered.

Below is a listing of the main food pantries as well as soup kitchens. There is also a referral number at the bottom of the page. They may have free food in an emergency along with helping the family access other social services or basic needs. If a family needs help in understanding what government programs are available to them, such as SNAP food stamps or USDA commodities, then the staff can provide information on that as well.

Additional resources may sometime be available. If an applicant has special dietary needs, and the pantry can't meet them, then vouchers may be passed out. Or some of the pantries in Fayette and Coweta also provide clothing or free Christmas meals, so various programs are run.
