Ector County free food pantries.

Most of the food pantries in the Ector County area are in the city of Odessa, however they support families from all towns and parts of the county. The services available will change based on donation levels and even the season, but the non-profits may provide items such as free boxes of food, non-financial support such as referrals to grant programs, clothing and more.

Volunteers work at many of the locations. They want to provide help to all clients, however this is not always possible. In those instances a referral may be given out to them. The Odessa Texas food banks will do their best to prevent hunger in the community though.

Of particular focus is on children and students from low income households as well as newborn babies. There is a cafe for them, formula for new moms or the summer food service program. They can also apply for a Christmas gift or meal. For those that need additional support, learn more on infant formula assistance. Another focus is on supporting the elderly in the community, and pantries may operate a Meal on Wheel service for them.
