Savannah Georgia and Chatham County food pantries offer assistance to the low income and needy in the community. Individuals and families that need some help providing a meal for them or their family can stop by a food bank for free groceries, perishable items, and possibly other items. Some of the pantries, which are based at charities, may have clothing or personal products too.

Thousands of local families receive services from the pantries every year. They provide both short and long term support.
