Cass County food pantries.

Several non-profits in Cass County operate food pantries or have on site meal sites, in particular for senior citizens. There are also food banks in nearby Bates County Missouri. Using donations from the public, local grocery stores, and partners such as Feeding America, these distribution centers help feed hundreds of families per month.

Some of the resources available at these locations are as follows. However the exact type of food offered, as well as other items such as hygiene items, depend on donations.

  • -Boxes of groceries, fresh fruits, meat, and diary.
  • -Senior citizens in Cass County can inquire into Meals on Wheels.
  • -Low income parents and mothers can apply for free baby formula or WIC vouchers.

Other assistance may be provided by a pantry too. There may be Christmas or Thanksgiving food baskets, and even non-financial aid such as clothing or cleaning supplies.
