Free food pantries, groceries and meals in Calhoun County Michigan.

Both emergency assistance as well as referrals may be offered from food pantries in Calhoun County. While the most common request for help is for either free or low cost food, the centers may offer other, non-monetary support as well. That will generally be everything from clothing for work or school to holiday meals and Christmas presents. Or get free personal hygiene supplies, holiday meals, and other items today from a food pantry near you (listed below). Also find a phone number at the bottom of the page for more resources.

A pantry will usually address a crisis. At the same time the staff will direct the family to longer term support, which may be applications to SNAP food stamps or WIC vouchers. Other social services will be for parents, such as providing them baby formula or diapers, and senior citizens including meals on wheels.

Even less common will be more direct financial aid. But that is an option too. If a food bank is not near where a family lives, then other referrals may be available in Calhoun County.
