Broward County transitional housing and emergency homeless shelters.
Individuals in Broward County Florida that are facing eviction or homelessness can get assistance from several housing programs. Some of the assistance is provided by non-profits and other aid is offered by the state of Florida or the federal government. Access an emergency homeless shelter, transitional housing, and other low-income support.
Families facing imminent eviction can get help. Or the currently homeless can receive assistance. Not only can individuals find a place to stay or be placed into low income apartments or housing, but other case management services are offered too, such as employment counseling, meals, and clothing.
Some of the Broward County agencies may be able to refer qualified clients to other financial resources. This can include section 8 vouchers or funds for paying first months rent or a security deposit. All of the funding is very limited though.
