Boone County free clothing closets.

Free clothing closets are located across Boone County Missouri, and they offer low income families the items they need. Whether it is free back to school supplies, hats or gloves for winter in Columbia, diapers, or other stuff, assistance is available. Clients of the free clothing banks generally include the following:

  • -Senior citizens on a fixed income.
  • -Children from low income homes or single mom-dad households.
  • -The disabled.
  • -Very low income adults, the homeless, and Boone County families in a financial emergency.
  • -The under or unemployed.

While free clothes can be given to anyone in need, the list above is generally who applies. Not only may clothing be passed out, but many of the charities also offer free food, Christmas toys, birthday gifts, basic items for a house, and much more.
