Whatcom County free food pantries.

In an effort to prevent hunger, several free food bank and pantries operate in Whatcom County. Each center uses a combination of volunteers and partnerships with groups such as Feeding America in an effort to help struggling families. Not only may a free box of food be offered, but some centers offer financial aid for bills, Christmas meals and gifts, Thanksgiving turkeys and applications to public aid such as SNAP.

While a resident can stop by a pantry below, another option is to contact a community action agency or social service office in Whatcom County.
