There are several charities, churches, and faith based groups that help the homeless. This can include placement into an emergency homeless shelter or transitional housing unit. There may also be meals, clothes, and more. Once the family is stabilized, then case workers will help clients find an affordable home, apply for rent or security deposit help and more.
