Warren County and Lebanon Ohio rent assistance.

Low-income families (and tenants) in Warren County Ohio can find emergency help for paying their rent (or utilities) to avoid an eviction. There may be free grants from the government, church based programs as well as charities, all which provide financial assistance for paying rental arrears, security deposits, or free legal aid from lawyers. There are also rapid rehousing services for the homeless or section 8 vouchers – all these housing programs are noted below.

Financial aid for paying for housing is intended to stop homelessness. Any rent, deposit, or moving cost assistance is combined with case management as well as long term support around housing stability. In addition to funds (either grants or loans) to pay rent, there is also help finding affordable, low income homes with no waiting list; section 8 vouchers from the public housing authority; senior or disabled supportive apartments and more.

Faith Ministries assists residents of South Lebanon, Mason, and Deerfield only. Emergency rental assistance may be offered (as funding allows) as well as vouchers, food, and placement into a homeless shelter. They also partner on their rent and housing programs with the Compass Christian Church, Sycamore Presbyterian, The United Way, Kiwanis Club, and Mason United Methodist among other charities.

Warren Metropolitan Housing Authority operates the section 8 housing choice voucher program. There may be immediate vouchers for the elderly or disabled. HCV can help low income families or single moms pay their rent and housing costs. There are also programs for public housing, transitional homes and more. SVDP (Society of St. Vincent de Paul) may provide financial aid for housing, rent, or free furniture, or referrals, to parts of warren County Ohio as well. Various churches and parishes make up the charity. Call 513-421-0602 or 513-562-8841.

Salvation Army provides rent, financial and material assistance in Warren County Ohio. They also partner with locations in Butler. The main center is at 197 N Main St, South Lebanon, Ohio 45065. Whether a free motel voucher, placement into a homeless shelter, or other funds to stop an eviction (or even a foreclosure), rent, utility and other help is offered. Warren County Community Services, or WCCS, is the community action agency. Get information on HELP, low income tenant programs, SSVF for veterans, government grants for rent or storage as part of homeless prevention and rapid rehousing and more. Warren County Job and Family Services offers emergency cash aid from the government PRC program. There are also employment resources, legal and housing discrimination programs, and grants for paying rent and housing costs. Short term housing resources in Warren County

There are several charities, churches, and faith based groups that help the homeless. This can include placement into an emergency homeless shelter or transitional housing unit. There may also be meals, clothes, and more. Once the family is stabilized, then case workers will help clients find an affordable home, apply for rent or security deposit help and more. Some shelters are for veterans, single moms, kids, or have other criteria.
