Food banks in Olympia and Thurston County Washington offer free meals, groceries and food in an emergency. Many of the centers also provide a clothing bank, personal hygiene items, diapers or free baby formula, and other assistance. Or there may be Christmas meals served to the low income. Anyone who needs help in the region can call or stop by one of the food pantries. Every year thousands of local individuals receive assistance from the centers, and it may range from emergency food boxes and vouchers up through and including referrals to local charities and non-profits.

In addition, you may be able to get help in applying for federal government and state of Washington government assistance programs like vouchers from WIC or food stamps.
