In some cases, the money issued can be considered as a loan, as it will need to be repaid over time. For assistance, call 816-581-4781 at 8 a.m. on the last working day of the month, and all aid is very limited.

Portions of non-perishable foods and personal goods that supplement the Seton Center Pantry are provided by monthly food drives run by members of St. Thomas More Catholic Church.

Dozens of clinics and other non-profits contribute towards the Health and Wellness initiatives. There is an annual health fair to provide information to clients via a broad spectrum. It touches on many different topics, including spiritual health and diabetes prevention. Through a partnership with Harvesters Community Food Network of Kansas City, Seton Center offers the Project Strength program.

This medical program was set up to be an 8 week nutrition and cooking course for clients to learn more about the health/food connection and heating healthy. Classes on vegetarian meal preparation, diabetes and somewhat nutritional desserts are also offered.
