Find free food pantries and places for a hot meal in the greater Prince William County. The distribution centers are run by churches or other charity organizations. Free grocery boxes, personal hygiene supplies, holiday meals and other benefits are offered today to low-income families, seniors, and single moms among others. The distribution centers and drive thru food pantries will generally try to assist anyone from the community, but there will be restrictions. A free food bank open today will give out groceries, items such as baby formula or Ensure, or they operate Meals on Wheels for senior citizens or disabled people in Prince William County. A food bank is available. However most of the support will be around self-sufficiency and benefits. There are applications to WIC - Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, food stamps, and USDA commodities. Financial aid is also arranged around housing, energy costs, and job placement too.

Holy Family Catholic Church

Volunteers collect surplus food and meals. They also hold food drives. Free food is available for the Prince William County zip codes of  22192, 22193, 22025, 22191, and 22172 only.

Salvation Army - Prince William County
The non-profit feeds the hungry. Case managers offer food from a pantry as well as free Thanksgiving and Christmas meals. There are also gifts from Angel tree as well as funds for rent or medications. The non-profit can also offer applications to SNAP food stamps and more long term services. Or the free emergency pantry, which is open today, has canned goods, paper products including toilet paper or napkins, and personal toiletries from a client choice distribution center.
