Mobile County free holiday and Christmas assistance programs.

Low income families and children in Mobile County can get help during the holidays. Charities and churches provide free Christmas toys as well as gift cards, clothes, and toys. There are also free holiday meal and turkey dinner programs, both at Thanksgiving and Christmas.

The main holiday assistance programs, as well as details on how to apply, are below. Programs such as the Mobile Alabama Toys for Tots as well as Angel Tree rely on donations, and food pantries also depend on volunteers and donations. Whether it is free food, Christmas toys for children, gift cards, or presents, help is offered. The elderly and homebound, as well as people in nursing homes or elder care facilities in Mobile County, can also get help at Easter, Thanksgiving and Christmas.

US Marine Corps and partners Toys for Tots

Toys, games, electronics, books, trucks or dolls, tablets, and so much more may be given out. Qualified families with kids from infant to age 17 can apply.
