Low income and needy families can turn to Mission Lexington. The charity, made up of many churches, assists the low income, immigrants, working poor and vulnerable in Lexington County SC. The Mission Lexington Case Management as well as Long term stability plans program provides support, emergency financial assistance, free vouchers and referrals to other government or non-profit programs to benefit the needy. Mission Lexington has several social workers that help their clients. As the goal is to provide emergency, short term help (with housing, medications, utilities, food, etc.) while the same time stabilizing the client.
