Food pantries in Midland County.

There are a number of resources provided by the Midland Texas food pantries. When it comes to passing out a box of groceries, this will often be done regardless of the applicant's income. However, it will depend on donations. Other programs from the food banks, such as holiday meals or items such as clothing, are more limited and may come with conditions.

The pantries, which can be located at churches or charities across the county, are open limited hours. While they help hundreds of families per month, the resources are limited. Some of what may be offered includes a box of food, Christmas meal, or referrals to state of Texas benefits such as food stamps.

A few of the locations will offer other types of support, including financial aid to qualified Midland County families. Or a church may offer both shelter and a hot meal to some clients.
