SVDP of Salem is a volunteer driven charity that helps the poor, homeless, single moms and others. This is the main free Christmas gift or present program for the region. Corporations, churches, individuals, Wal-Mart and Target and others donate money or new toys. Those are then given to children, teenagers, infants and youth in need. Toys for Tots gives everything from free Toys to gift cards, vouchers, clothes, educational supplies or sporting goods and more.
