Jackson County Oregon Saint Vincent De Paul assistance programs.

The staff and services from Jackson County and Medford Saint Vincent De Paul work to improve the condition of underprivileged individuals and families. All across the region, civic leaders, charities and churches incorporated the agency to address financial crises within the community. Ever since then, he Society of Saint Vincent has worked to meet the changing needs of clients residing in its service territory of Medford Oregon.

This financial assistance is intended for people mired in emergencies. Grants or vouchers are also available for prescription medications and/or glasses. The funds will focus on people impacted by an illness, job loss, divorce or similar circumstances.

 

 

 

Many clients of Saint Vincent churches in Medford typically require multiple sources of funding. In these cases, Jackson County Saint Vincent De Paul initially offers a written pledge for the amount of support the agency can provide. Once the person has secured the necessary money from other groups, they must return to the charity and present documentation of such funds.

After that has been done, the agency then provides a check written out to the appropriate business entity, such as a landlord or utility company. The money is not given directly to applicants. Financial assistance is offered once per year, and the amount of aid is contingent upon the unique circumstances of each client.
