Hoke County food pantries.

Anyone facing hunger in Hoke County can turn to a food pantry for help. Some clients of the centers are just experiencing a short term crisis, while other pantry users tend to be living in or near poverty. Not only can a free box of food be given out, but the locations will also try to meet other needs of the client.

Some of the food distribution sites are faith based agencies, including the Church of Freedom. Generally a church uses volunteers and holds drives to raise money. So the amount of aid is more limited. But is may still be possible to get some form of free or low cost items from one or more of these Hoke County food banks. There may be groceries, cereal, milk, fruits, and many other items.

Also a family should inquire into any other services that may be offered. As some of the food pantries in Raeford may also pass out clothes, personal hygiene supplies, razors, and similar items. Other they organize and hold special free Thanksgiving and Christmas meal services. Find resources from one of the organizations below.
