Greene County Ohio free Christmas assistance programs.

During the holidays, free Christmas toys, food, Thanksgiving turkey dinners and other assistance is available in Greene County Ohio. The primary places to apply at for help are listed below. Low income families with children (whether married or not or single mothers/dads), senior citizens, the poor, and others may be able to get some form of free Christmas or holiday assistance for their families, and this may be clothes, toys, and other gifts. Or a box of food for a Christmas or Thanksgiving meal may be passed out.

By far the largest program in the Greene County region is Toys for Tots. This will provide children from low income families with kids, and it is for kids from age 13 to infant. The application period is early, and all gifts are new and unwrapped. Money, gift certificates, and other donations are always needed from the community as well, so please donate if you can.

There are other holiday assistance programs too, as noted below. They include Angel Tree from the Salvation Army, Adopt A Family, meals from soup kitchens and others.
