Free, emergency food boxes can be provided by food pantries across Faulkner County. Not only may groceries be passed out to struggling as well as working poor families, but many of the charities also deliver hot meals to the homebound, staff help people apply for SNAP food stamps, give out free personal hygiene supplies, serve holiday food boxes, and offer other support. Most of the food banks near you only help a family once a month or quarter. They should not be relied upon for long term assistance. Instead a family in poverty can apply for WIC or SNAP food stamps, as those can provide longer term support. These government assistance are also available in Faulkner County.

There is a free daily dinner. Any Faulkner County family can drop in, including the unemployed or homeless. There are also food boxes with pasta, dairy, soup, and whatever else has been donated. Note that residents are eligible to receive some form of free food baskets once per month.
