The organizations can help people feed themselves and their families by offering free groceries, immediate boxes of food, hot meals, and hygiene supplies. Find details below as well as a referral number (at the bottom of the page) for more food and meal programs in Essex County.

The centers, which are located across Lawrence and Haverhill Massachusetts as well as other towns and all of Essex County, provide free food, groceries, and meals to people across Essex County. Some also serve holiday food baskets, offer formula for single moms and pass out free hygiene items. Find the addresses and phone numbers of the various Essex County food pantries below.

Apply for help at the charities, including the following items. Clients can get fresh perishable food items such as fruits, vegetables, and meats. Non-perishable groceries are usually offered too. Many of the food pantries will also be able to provide limited amounts of assistance with others needs, such as clothing, household products, or baby diapers or formula.

Last, but not least, clients can get information on and help applying for both state of Massachusetts and federal government public assistance, such as SNAP food stamps, WIC, and energy bill help. All of these resources are used to help the less fortunate in Essex County Massachusetts and to end hunger.
