Dauphin County food pantries.

Families that live in the Harrisburg and Dauphin County region have several food pantries and assistance programs they can call upon in their time of need. Some of the centers will have an application process in place or restrictions, however each and every local food bank will do its best to not turn anyone away.

The pantries can be based at churches, non-profits, or local charities. The resources will vary by center, but some locations will have perishables such as fruits, vegetables, or baby formula. What is most standard will include canned goods and free bags of groceries. Low income and working poor families can also inquire into government assistance such as SNAP food stamps or baby formula from the WIC program.
