Food banks and food pantries in Curry County and eastern New Mexico.

Find food pantries in eastern New Mexico, many of which are located in Curry County, however some other nearby regions, such as Roosevelt and Quay, also have free distribution centers. The sites, which are located at charity organizations and churches, offer free boxes of emergency food, groceries, and hot meals. Locate a food bank near you in eastern NM.

The volunteers at each pantry offer clients other support as well. This ranges from free Thanksgiving or Christmas meals to a home delivery service for senior citizens. The non-profit food banks will also have staff on hand that can refer very low income families to government benefits, including with applications in Spanish. For example, both WIC as well as SNAP food stamps (EBT cards) are offered in eastern New Mexico, and applications can be processed for these. Even learn how to get a free tablet with EBT.

A food bank will give out items such as free canned groceries, dog or cat food, produce, baby formula and many other supplies to low-income families and people with no money. Or clients can learn about soup kitchens for free holiday meals (Thanksgiving, Christmas, etc.) or even thrift stores that can offer them support when they are faced with a difficult time.
