Clark County Washington short term and transitional housing units.

Each of the short term housing centers in Clark County will have a waiting list in place, and capacity is limited. However there will be options for homeless and struggling families when it comes to locating some form of temporary, low income housing. The main agencies to try for support are below.

The terms and conditions of each program will vary, and it is recommended that people call in advance. Most of the transitional housing programs will require the applicant to be improving their life circumstances through a combination of employment as we as credit repair. Some will also often require the family to pay a portion of their income towards rent as well.

Also, many Clark County centers focus on veterans or single parents. Some will also only support the disabled or seniors or people in poverty. However almost all of the shelters will provide support to people of all ages and backgrounds.
