Food pantries in Canyon County.

Food pantries support low income and struggling families in Canyon County. The centers often have volunteers on staff that collect surplus items from restaurants and donations from grocery stores. These supplies are then package by the team at the food banks and are passed out to income qualified families.

Clients of the food pantries come from all races, ages, and backgrounds. There are non-perishable items, holiday meals, cleaning supplies and more for seniors as well as the unemployed and working poor. In those cases in which a pantry can't help, the staff will offer referrals to other social services in Canyon County, such as food stamps.

Anyone that need assistance, whether the food items to prepare a meal or maybe they need clothing or a holiday gift basket, they can call a non-profit below. Proof of residents, income, and hardship will often be required. Hours and resources are limited.
