California rescue missions
Rescue missions are located throughout California and they offer services to many people, including the working poor, low income, unemployed, and those on the verge of homelessness. Numerous services and assistance programs are offered, including those listed below. You will also find locations and phone numbers of the California rescue missions.
While the exact type and nature of services offered will vary by the location of the rescue mission in California, in general you will be able to get access to some or all of the following assistance programs:
- Educational services offered by the California missions can include job skill training and placement programs, Computerized academic programs and training, Tutoring (individual), Employment and career readiness and counseling programs, English as a second language, and Life skills training.
