Butler County Kansas food pantries and banks.

Families in El Dorado and Butler County can turn to a free food pantry for assistance. Several of them also provide basic needs from on site clothing closets. The goal of these food pantries as well as clothing banks is to help the less fortunate. Whether the applicant is a senior, disabled, or a child, resources are available.

Pantries try to provide healthier groceries. The may be food or hot meals served that meet U.S. Department of Agriculture guidelines. Examples can be fruits, vegetables, dairy items, meats, and baby formula. Those types of goods, and many others, may be available from local charities as well as churches.

Butler County families, including those in poverty or the unemployed, can also get clothes for work or school. The pantries often provide this as well, including both Christmas toys and meals to households with children.
