In fact, some services are focused on lower income seniors or children from families living in poverty. Whether it is assistance in applying for heating bill help from the Good Neighbor Energy Fund, free food from the pantry, rental assistance, or support in a disaster, the centers in New Bedford and Fall River may be able to help.

When it comes to hunger prevention, there are two main resources used to help feed families. They include the food pantry, which is open limited hours from Monday to Friday.
