Missouri Cold Weather Rule runs during the winter, from November 1 to March 31 of each year. Ameren Missouri Payment Agreement – Before disconnection during the cold weather rule period, customers may be qualified for a one-time cash Payment Agreement. Customers will need to be put on a Budget Billing plan, need to pay down 12% plus the average balance down, and the balance needs to be paid over 12 months. Low income customers will not receive a late charge on their account if they enroll into this service. So provided customers make an effort to pay their bills and enter into contracts to do so, their power can be kept on.

Ameren Missouri Keeping Current program can provide qualified low income customers with a credit on their cooling or heating bills.
