Hi Deborah,
Yeah, the options are kind of limited if you have no income. So you clearly made a huge sacrifice to take care of your mom, but sorry you are going through that. We are going to send a couple options - one being our payday loan alternative option page.
Sometimes a DMP - Debt management plan may work, and see our site about guide to debt management plans.
For another resource, try the NFCC ask an expert about payday loans and how to get help at https://www.nfcc.org/blog/askanexpert-p ... aking-can/

Hi all
There are many programs and options listed in this thread, but another will be lenders that do not require a credit check or they provide loans to borrowers with bad credit scores. As there are some fintech companies and other lenders to try. Always be wary of terms and conditions though, but look here for other emergency loans for people with credit issues. https://www.needhelppayingbills.com/htm ... loans.html

Re: Want to combine payday loans - Need resources to do this

I am in need of financial assistance. Your site is great but it gives payday loan sites to go for help. This is my problem. I have too many payday loans and need resources on where to go to get a bigger loan to pay them off and combine them into one payment. Please help! I don't have any income left after paying the payments on these. I don't have great credit so I have been turned down multiple times because of late payments on these loans. No one understands that this is the reason I wanted to combine them all into one loan so that I can have breathing room. My husband is disabled and I work but my money goes to these loans and household bills.
I also have a child in college that I have to support also. He gets a grant and scholarships but there is still money we have to provide for him while he is in school. What I am looking for is a second chance loan at a financial institution that will loan me the money to pay all these payday and installment loans to combine them. That way I will have only 1 payment instead of the 6 I have. No one will help me. I am in dire straits here and my taxes hasn't come in yet and I have no clue when it will come to me.

Hi, my name is Ashley and I came across your programs that help people in credit card debt and payday loans, which I would like to combine. I have been in a deep rut since Covid not being able to pay my credit card bills or payday loans. I am currently in about 27k in debt. I currently work only 20 hours a week and I am a student. What types of programs do you offer?

Hi,  I'm in a bit of a crisis with payday loan debt. When I asked about to help I was told to get ahold of you and maybe you could help. Back in January my mother in law was told she had a spot on her brain, that was causing her to have multiple mini seizures over a months’ time. She had asked me to come and live with her and to provide Medical assistance.
Over the last few months I've come across some bills and turned to payday loans.  Finding out that she was detrimentally in debt to her electric company. Last month I took over her bills but her bill is so high that I could never pay it off. I only work part time. She never meant to let it get like that. Every time you asked her, she said the bills are paid. She was losing time Nd thought. She truly believed she had them paid. Just recently I received a shut off notice for the electric. I have talked to a few recommend groups that maybe be able to help but everyone keeps telling me "no funds."
I have a 7 year old daughter that had come here with me. I cannot let my child be without electricity but I can't make myself leave my mother in law. I don't like doing this but If I could please ask for a little assistance in getting help with her utility bill or payday loan it would be a dream. If someone could please write me back and let me know if there is something you can do or you have any suggestions. Even if there is nothing you can do. I would appreciate it.
I'm sorry to have to ask you for help. I just am out of options.

Thank you so much for taking the time to read my email.

That is a form of consolidation, and there is assistance out there. Find how to combine and consolidate payday loans.
But this only works if the interest rate is lower. There are also credit counseling agencies in Iowa.

There may be some options for you, like debt consolidation loans. Even if your credit is back, like you said, they may help. It is getting a new loan at at much lower rate than some payday product. So try one.

During hurricane Iaasic I had to make a loan from an outrageous company due to no electricity. I needed cash now and with their interest rate I will never pay it down much less off and although I tried to consolidate. My credit isn't good enough so if I can get help to pay off this loan it would cut out almost 500 dollars back in my pocket. Then due to health issues where I was living I had to move yet again so with this I have gotten behind and if I could pay off this 1 large bill it would assure me that I will be able to pay all my bills without a problem. I live in Phoenix Arizona and I got a letter from I.R.S. saying my land lord wasn't paying there taxes. I have 4 kids and we are trying to move but need help with security deposit we found a 3 bedroom for 600 a month and need help with 700 deposit.
Been laid off from the union job I started and getting far behind on many bills. Was called back to work a few months ago but playing catch up still risk losing things that I don't want ruining my credit score. I am 27, a multiple tour OIF veteran, have 3 kids and face another lay off within a few days... scared to see my kids pay for the rough times we are experiencing. Have taken out payday loans to help but owing on those small loans also... jet wanting one big lump sum to pay off debt accumulated.

Yes, sadly many payday loan lender focus on military personnel and veterans, as they often need some short term cash while waiting for paychecks. Too bad to hear about your car issues on your drive. But do not use a payday loan to pay for repairs. Instead call a local Salvation Army, community action agency, or other local non-profit. As far as the loans and debts you have, look into payday loan consolidation. This can lower your interest rate which will allow you more time to catch up on paying back the bills and debts. But there are no magic tricks. It is just paying a little more towards your payday loans each month. Also look into non-profit credit counseling too.

I am in disparate need of financial help. I am veteran that moved from San Diego back home to Birmingham AL this in 2010. The move has caused me to get behind on my bills because of borrowing money from Pay Day Loan companies to stay afloat and overdrafts from my bank. I am receiving early retirement social security, a small amount for retirement from a federal job I had to retire from due to medical problems and my military retirements which a few allotments come out of including a $616.98 a month car payment. I move here because I wanted to be near family and the Moving company gave me a good deal for the move which turned out to be a big scam. I was told that my move would be a little less than $3000 but when the actually moving company packed and had my property in their possession the amount went up to a little less than $10,000. I now am now taking from Pal to pay Peter as the saying goes. I drove alone to Alabama without stopping only stopping for gas and food, 25 hrs straight. During this drive a part of my front end of my car came off and hit another car. I had to pay $500 deductible for that repair, backed up and hit a fire hydrogen and could not afford to get it repaired so I got another car and the tags cost more than I expected even with my paperwork from the VA for disable veteran tags and this August 2012 my tags will be a little over $100. My car is a fairly new 2009. I am trying to get 100 % disability now, I have 70% from the VA now that will help a little if I get the 100%. I want to work but would like to work from home. I haven't had money to put gas in my car so I don't go anywhere unless its an emergency need and haven't had the money to buy food for over a two months just barely have noodles to eat and dog food and medical attention comes before my needs. I live alone and my puppy keeps me alot of company I knew I was going to make my financial even harder but I always wanted a puppy and he is just like a human child and I never was blessed with any children. I am here close to family but not much contact. I have this mid month $1999.00 in bills and only have left after payday loans and bank overdraft. I really need assistance. Do not take out a payday loan for this. Payday loan should not be used to pay expenses if you have no longer term plan to pay it back. Otherwise you will get into the never ending cycle that is terrible and may lead to bankruptcy. Find other alternatives and short term loan products using that link.

I happened across your web site in search of help for my dilemma. I am in a financial situation that was made worse by a pay day loan and need to know where to turn for help. I am in fear of losing my home due to prior unemployment and illness. I read there are banks that offer government loans for low income people or someone in my area that works with people with bad credit. I have a title to a mobile home but cant find anyone that will let me use it for collateral and I have a low credit score. Please help me with any information you may have on Roanoke and Salem , Va .

I know payday lenders and loans are all too common in South Carolina. I do know that individuals have many options and ways to reduce or ideally pay off those payday loans. There are consolidation options, ways to get lower interest loans from other lenders and banks and you can use that money to pay off the payday loan, and talk to places like a credit counseling agency. Many resources and options are available for you.

Re: Grants for payday loans and credit cards

Post by Admin - Jon McNamara »

The truth is that there are not really grants that can be used to pay off debts, credit card bills, etc. If you need help with Bank of America credit card debts, you can try a debt management plan. These are programs offered by BOA and credit counselors that take a methodical approach to paying off bills and debts. Many can be entered into at no cost, or with a minimal fee. Sometimes you can consolidate payday loans into the debt management plans as well.

My total debt for everything that I would like the grant to cover is rounding to 15000 dollars. Is there anything that can help me get out of this debt where I wouldn't end up with more debt? I live in the state of Massachusetts. I do not want a bunch of adds on specif grants just one personal grant that covers what ever it is that I may need. Please and Thank you for you time.
