Hi,
There are multiple types of home repairs and locations listed here. There is a link to free repairs, but also for one source of info try a community action agency. They can be a great resources for anything home repair related, and look here for those community action locations in your area. https://www.needhelppayingbills.com/htm ... gency.html

Good day to you, I am a father of one boy just recently married to the love of my life. We are working as hard as we can, and I was recently laid off from my job. We live in St. Augustine Florida 32086 and I have been rebuilding a 20 year old mobile home with my stepfather and my landlord is not helping with anything I am doing out of pocket. Both bathrooms had rotten wood and black mold that was unsafe to live in and I had to fix it because you could see the dirt through the floor and reach your hand through the outside wall is was so rotten. Our roof is falling in and my wife and I are doing all that we can to meet ends meet as we try to pay for home repairs. I just spent the last 77 dollars I had on food and school supplies for my son he is going into the third grade. Rent is 720 a month and electric are around 120. Please if there is anything that could be done let the lord shine down on you forever for helping people like my family.

We need help on home repairs, including a major pipe repair to the city street. The city of Mount Clemens wants this done immediately and is threatening to evict us from our own home. The damage right now is confined to the yard and street there is no damage to the home itself. I thank you in advance for your assistance.

Well, weatherization is one of the easiest programs to apply for, so not sure why you would say that. Contact DSS or a community action agency. Just ask around. So ask them about home repairs. Note there is normally a waiting list, and many people do not qualify. But try. Also ask them about other grants you may need. For details, find more details on home repair programs.

To whom it may concern...I am not sure who to contact for help but me and my daughter live in a very old house. I have done a lot of work to it. But recently got laid off work in November. My house needs siding on it very bad. I cannot afford to do it on my own. The house stays cold where I need siding. Any help would be very much appreciated. Thank for any help you can give me for the home and siding. Thanks.

I live in Lexington Kentucky and in need of home repairs in three rooms of my house the floors are very weak. In one bedroom it has already fell through in one small area that you can see the ground underneath. My water heater doesn't work and I have been without hot water going on a year now, I have asked Churches in Corbin Kentucky and Williamsburg Kentucky for help. I have also asked Bell Whitley Community Action Agency, Cedar Ridge Ministries, Friendship Center and Mountain Outreach all in Williamsburg with no success. I have asked three of these places for help more than once about these home repairs but they always say they can't help me. I have also contacted Corbin United Effort in Corbin Kentucky and attended an expo for low income families for assistance, still unable to find help. I have really tried every place I can think of. I am in need because I am disabled and on a fixed income of 710.00 a month. I am 42 and live on my own and cannot do these repairs or afford to pay someone to do them. Thank You for your time.

Hello, I am a 60 year old male permanently disabled man I live in my own house that is slowly falling apart. I try to keep up with and do pretty good at doing it , but it rained hard the other night and when I went down in my basement, water everywhere. This is not the first time. I tried my best to remedy the problem but I see that didn't work. Well the question is this first of all I am on a fixed income and none of it do I get to enjoy, and I was wondering if there is any charitable organization that I could turn to and ask for help with making my basement waterproof. Please any assistance would be greatly appreciate.

I can't even find where to go for the weatherization grant to replace windows etc... I am disabled and my home is in bad shape and I don't have any money to survive and pay bills much less any home repairs. I have almost died twice in the last month and still don't have answers to why or what happened to me but my finances are stressing me and I need some help and don't know where to go to get any help. Thank you so much for this site but from what I have seen, it looks like where I live there is not any help for me out there. My car broke down too and I need help with Christmas. Times are just too hard.

My husband and I are in need of a septic and a well dug and hooked up and I was searching online and came across your page. My husband is disabled due to a work accident that caused a broken neck. He is disabled for life. We was only 31 yrs old when it happened and we also had a house fire where we lost everything. We had to start over and we moved to a trailer on his mom and dads land but we were not able to get the well dug. It was quite expensive to us, around $2500.00. That is money we just don't have. We are living day to day and we just don not have that kind of money. Is there anyone that you would know of that would be able to help us to get a well dug and the pump and tank also the septic tank. We are having to go to his mom and dads to use the rest room and shower, we live on the same 5 acres of his mom and dad we just know that its a burden on them and we need one in our own home. Thank you again for your time.

Sometimes there may be a loan interest loan (or very rarely a grant program) offered by local non-profit agencies, like your community action agency. The one in Columbus Ohio is known as Impact Community Action. Find more about them, including phone numbers and addresses at Franklin County Ohio programs, including housing, financial aid, and much more aid and support.

My basement continually gets water in it and I cannot afford to fix the problem due to our low income level. My windows also have a very bad draft that always gets my wife and son sick during the colder months. I make over a thousand dollars let a month than when I originally bought my home. Also due to the water getting in we are worried about black mold developing.

We are not sure about home repairs for trailers, however we do have extensive information on Broward County assistance programs. Call the agencies and organizations that we have listed, such as Hope Outreach Center (954) 321-0909 or the City of Fort Lauderdale Housing & Community Development Division (954) 828-4512. Ask if they have any recommendations for you. Maybe one specific program to ask about is weatherization.Or some counties also offer zero interest rate loans for home repairs. So maybe ask about that option too. And continue calling around to various agencies too.

I need to repair my moldy walls before it becomes a health issue for my kids. I live in the city of Miramar, FL in a mobile Trailer Home.

Weatherization, LIHEAP, and programs from your utility company may all be options for you. Many energy conservation programs are run by various programs, government offices, and utility companies. Find our most extensive list of assistance programs here.

I am not sure if a non-profit can take care of those types of home maintenance. However you can call around and ask. Probably focus on agencies all across Sacramento, and not just call places around Carmichael. A listing of different non-profits, charities, and agencies to call can be found [urlhttp://needhelppayingbills.com/html/sacramento_county_assistance_p.html]Sacrramento assistance programs[/url]. Call places like the Greater Sacramento Urban League at 916.286.8600. So call and ask if they know of options they may have.

Did you look into charity programs in your area? Some can coordinate home repairs and improvements, so it sound like if you do that you can get the insurance that you need. Find an extensive listing of charity assistance programs.
