Are the shelters full there? I found this program listed on the site - try it. https://www.needhelppayingbills.com/htm ... s_hou.html
The city has this one too. https://www.miami.gov/My-Government/Dep ... Assistance

I have all documents proving I was illegally foreclosed on evicted from my home of 20 years. Please help. I still live in my car since eviction which is now broken in a parking lot in Miami Beach.
The other tools sent I am going through and thank you!

My name is James, I need emergency help for a short payment of rent until help arrives soon. I am in Miami. I'm asking for $2800 to secure rent. My mother and I was handling rent and bills okay. She passed away on the 24th of January . My brother just started work, and once he gets paid, we'll be good. I am a Navy Veteran serving on the USS Doyle FFG-39. USS JFK CV-67 and SSB2 Bulk Fuel unit NASA. All in Miami was my service where I live now. Thank you for your time!

Hi Dawn,
So glad you got away from that relationship. If you have a source of income you are more than likely to qualify for rent help in Miami from places such as HAND or community action. If you have no income or money, a DV shelter may be your best option for short term support. Then look here for organizations that help pay rent in Miami.

Miami rent assistance for homeless people

Post by Newday »

Hello my name is Dawn and I am currently homeless in Miami as a result of an abusive relationship in which I was fortunate to have escaped from. I currently have income of approximately $1800 a month. I also have someone willing to be a 2nd party on a lease who has approximately the same income. I am not able to pay the first months rent or deposit to get into a place due to spending my pay on hotel rooms to keep myself and my service dog inside. Could you please send me any info on deposit and first month rent assistance you may have for Miami FL.
Thank you in advance for your time and consideration.
