Hi Brandon,
That is great your girlfriend is working again (and you too of course). But $2,000 is a lot of money from any place. But try this for free money to pay bills.

You also indicated you both live in Kentucky. If so there are local programs that may provide emergency money for bills such as rent or utilities. Find a list of KY assistance programs.

Hello, my name is Brandon. My girlfriend and I live in a 2 bedroom apartment in Paducah Kentucky. She was laid off for several months and all the bills have fell in my lap and we need $2,000 to catch back up as they will cover our rent, utilities and insurance. After running a household on 1 income, I’m unfortunately not going to be able to pay my upcoming rent. I’m reaching out for help before the eviction process even starts to hopefully avoid that. I have two kids, which I have joint custody of. They live at my apartment part time. If any financial assistance is available, even a portion of that $2000. Or if I can be pointed in the direction of pre eviction assistance for my rent, it would be greatly appreciated.

Good morning,
My electricity was disconnected yesterday by TXU and I need $just over $2,000 to turn it back on as I owe 6 months and reconnect fees.  I have spoken with them numerous times over the course of months, been placed on payment plans, and still been unable to keep up with my electric bills as well as others.  I have explained to them prior to and yesterday that the reason I have been unable to fulfill payment plan agreements is due to them requiring up front lump sums of money that I do not have.
f there is any information or assistance from the government or charity that could be given I would greatly appreciate it.  Again $2000 would cover it. I am a veteran and am gainfully employed, my husband and I have just had a rough 3-4 years and I've gotten in a hole I can't get out of. Thank You and Respectfully,

Hi Cynthia
$2000 is a lot of cash to ask for. As you said, 8 plus months of back SSDI will more than cover it. Your friends/family can't give you any more money to hold you over? Even some of that $2K? Do you have help trying to get disability? Either way, for resources on where to get money, including for "free", look here. https://www.needhelppayingbills.com/htm ... money.html

Hello. My name is Cynthia. I need $2000 to help paying my rent. My rent is $1000.00 month and I need money for 2 months. The reason why I can't pay my rent is do to my disability. I been out of work now for 8 months now. My family and friends been helping me out by giving me money for free. But they can't help me out this month. I have one else to turn for a couple thousand dollars. I sign up for SSDI 8 months ago and hoping the catch up will give me way over $2000 so I can pay people back. Still waiting for response from them also. I just need someone to help me.
