What programs help people that work at non-profits pay the bills?

People looking for general financial assistance.
Also look here for programs on the main NHPB site for local financial help.

Hi,
Doesn't the non-profit have ideas? But really programs for people, whether they work at a non-profit or somewhere else, vary. They really do not discriminate as to whether someone works at a "for-profit" business or non-profit. Maybe try a foundation.

What programs help people that work at non-profits pay the bills?

Hello,
I am requesting information on support for low wage employees that work for non-profits. I work in the industry that cares for individuals with intellectual and development disabilities (IDD). We are funded through New York State Office of People with Intellectual and Developmental Disability. The majority of our workers are Direct Support Professionals. Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) play a vital role in America’s workforce and economy by providing necessary supports and services to people with disabilities of all ages. With the limited government funding for non-profit agencies caring for individuals with IDD, most DSP are making starting salaries of $16.00 per hour. Not enough to support themselves or a family.
As an agency we are looking to connect frontline workers with various state, local, and philanthropic services that may help our employees survive in the current economy with raising food, transportation and housing costs. I am inquiring if there is information you could provide us that we can distribute to the workforce.
