Hello, I am wondering if there is any last minute short term or long term assistance with paying my rent or other bills like food. Mostly rent. Last year 2024 I was forced to move from my affordable living apartment due to being behind on rent for some unforeseen circumstances. Desperate to find housing as a single mom for me and my two boys and not disrupt them too much further.
found another apartment that I truly cannot afford. I have been living there since February and have made every rent payment so far but am struggling and falling behind this month on all my bills and need help. I work close to 72 hours a week to make ends meet and am a single mom of two teenage boys receiving no child support. I live in Seattle Washington and if there are any resources or help towards rent and bills either short term to relieve the pressure or long term to help supplement that would be most helpful. Please reach out to my personal email or phone at any time, thank you, Tiffani

Re: Where can a single mom in Seattle get assistance?
I am a 49-year-old single mom. I have lived here in Seattle for 6 years. I now have always paid rent and utility bill on time. Except maybe three times. I have a full time Job, but they switched me to a new position in the company and there was a two-week span that I didn't make any money, and I couldn't pay my rent. I live in Seattle WA in King County. I'm female single mom and live with my 4-year-old. My rent is 1500 and my power bill I about to get shut off too.
My name is Sandra. Please help.

Hi,
It depends on where you live in Seattle, as many of the programs are neighborhood focused. But the job market is booming - you should be able to get a job literally anywhere in the city. But for the help you need in Seattle for your bills, look here for resources. https://www.needhelppayingbills.com/htm ... ogram.html

Where can a single mom in Seattle get assistance?
Hi there,
I am a single mother in my 40's who is in need of rental assistance and financial help. I live in Seattle, Washington, I am on unemployment applying for ANY JOB available. I have an eviction notice from my current landlord.
I would appreciate immediate assistance and/or support as I am limited on time after trying to contact everyone in my state and city of Seattle. I am wasting time in lines or on the phone. This has resulted in me only have 2 weeks left to resolve before eviction proceeds.
