My name is Jennifer and I am having a problem paying my rent and I need quick help. I have gone to Texas Workforce Commission, but my appointment is not until March 5, 2022, which is too late. I was kicked out of my home and went to multiple apartments to try and find a home but the only one available is the one I am in. Well, talk to the agencies in Kalamazoo. They may have ideas for you. Also, talk to the social security office and figure out where the balance of your payment is. As they owe you the entire amount and can't short change you. Find more details on the Kalamazoo Michigan rental assistance agencies.

I am behind on my rent because I did not receive my funds from social security payment for January so I ended up paying a little over half of my rent last month. It’s December and I received December payment but not January.
I paid November rent however the leasing office said they can't accept it without January. I have chronic kidney failure and I am on dialysis. I have been on social security for 5 years. I need funds of 575 towards my rent. Your help would be greatly appreciated.

I have been struggling to pay my rent for the past three months after losing one of my jobs, and having to pay for a family member’s funeral. I have been late on my payments three times, and I got a letter saying if I am late again I will be evicted. I currently have $50 cash to my name with -$46 in my bank account, and I'm not entirely sure how I will be able to make rent by the first. I get paid the fifth and will have $350+ on the fifth, but I need $450 to pay rent by the first. I have absolutely no idea what to do, and I am VERY scared I will end up homeless within the next two weeks.

It depends on what you mean by quick. Most agencies have an extensive application process for their rental programs. Not only is funding limited, but they want to ensure the applicant has some plan in place to gain stability. They do not want to assist with a housing payment if someone is just going to be evicted again. But you can try and see what you can find out. Locate our main programs for paying rent.

My daughter and I live at a nice place but this morning my landlord sent a eviction notice through email telling me if I don't come up with 3.000 by October 1 then they'll pursue eviction. I can come up with a thousand but I can't come up with the rest. I don't want my daughter and I to lose our place because I love our place and the schooling. My daughter is doing well at this school.
I make less then 30,000 a year she gets free lunches at school. But they want this money ASAP and I can't come up with this amount this soon. I live in Vermont. If you could help my daughter and I it would be so grateful. I haven't expressed my concerns out loud because I don't want to frighten my daughter.

Depends on how quickly you need the rent help in Suffolk County. Most agencies do have an application process, and it does take time. Here is a listing of rent agencies and other organizations in Suffolk County Long Island.

Try places like the Suffolk County St. Vincent De Paul (Phone number (516)822-3132) or Family Service League Inc. ((phone 631)427-3700) for help with rent or other housing expenses. They can usually help people, especially if you have children.

Try contacting the Adams County Community Development at (303) 453-8517. This is the local, non-profit community action agency. They can usually help people apply for rental asssitance and financial aid, refer you to other Colorado and federal government programs, and in genenral are a great resource.
