No money and negative bank account - What can I do?

I got chronic fatigue syndrome around 1994 and have battled it and resisted it best I could but after about 20 doctors, clinics and hospitals...and 100 tests, yet no help from eastern or western medicine. I am now in bed all the time except for going to the bathroom and getting food from the fridge to eat. I’ve filed for Social Security Disability in 2023 and recently, but no funds. I have no income, no retirement funds, no savings in the bank, no car or home nor computer, and am in the back room of a great friend. I owe rent.
What can I obtain after 40 years of contributing to my community as a business owner and taxpayer? I am on OHP and get food stamps. But that is it.

I found your email on a website and was wondering what I needed to do to see if I can get some help with rent and getting some food. I am $200 short because I will be charged a late fee of $35. I just had to turn my vehicle in because we don't have the money to pay it so now I am struggling to get a job and pay for food to eat too as I got no money but my fiancé tries. My fiancé supports myself and 5 children and works super hard.

Since you literally have no money (in fact a negative balance - you owe) that is obviously not a good thing. You are in a bad spot. But there are resources, and look here for tips on what to do when have no money.

My name is Anya and I am in desperate need of financial assistance. I was out FMLA for a month with no pay and now the balance in my bank account is negative. The reason is due to mental health. I am a single mom (divorced) of two girls.
I’m not low income or at least I wasn’t before my leave. I do not have any type of savings that could be used to get me caught up. I am in desperate need of financial help. My bank account is -$700. I had most of my bills set to auto payments so they just keep building up and I continue to get $35 overdraft fees for each transfer. Plus all the other bills that I isn’t have set for auto pay. Now my credit score is basically destroyed.
Things such as credit card bills, car payment, auto insurance, it goes on and on.
I have been approved for food assistance through the county.
I don’t know where else I can look or contact to help me. I just need help getting caught up on everything. If I can’t get any help it’s only going to get worse.
It’s disheartening to take some time away from work to focus on yourself especially mental health and as you start getting better and feeling good about things then finding yourself in a huge financial disaster.
