Where is mortgage payment help in NY State?

Hello
I have a house in Greece NY that I bought in 2018, my income has changed in the last year and I am behind in my mortgage. I owe 3 months which is about $2700, and I am close to being foreclosed on, and I’d like to prevent that. Do you have any programs that can help me? Section 8 or something else.
