I recently got into a vehicle accident where my car was smashed with my daughter and I inside. I have severely messed up my lower back to the point where I was unable to walk and am just now as of today able to walk decently on my own, because of this i haven't been able to work and now I am our of money to fix my car or get a new one. I hope your non-profit can help me get one. I've never had anu help and I've never reached out like this but I am a firm believer that God will carry us through and we will find help.

Hello, my name is Vernon. I'm writing you because I'm in urgent need of an automobile from a local non-profit. I'm a single father with a 2 year old. Her mother has recently removed herself from our lives do to choices of her own. I was an over the road Truck Driver who was planning on coming off of the road to become a local driver prior to my daughter's 2nd birthday. Which was June 24th.
However, after I made that transition of return. I found that we were getting evicted on that exact same day. This was beyond me, being that I was sending her up to 800.00 weekly. This was the craziest thing ever. I was so distraught and disappointed. But mostly curious of where all that money was going. Needless to say, We became homeless and now live in a shelter. A car will help me get back to work.
Not long after being here at the shelter at the non-profit my fiance began to leave at night with these off the wall excuses of why she needed to leave. It didn't take long to see the obvious issue. She had gotten on drugs and we ended up losing everything. Down to the vehicle that I left in her possession. It's been repo'd because she unknowingly to me had gotten a title loan that she didn't pay off. I haven't been Able to go back to work because I have yet to receive child care that would provide me the hours. As well as a car that would get me there.
She's sine left and hasn't returned because of her own personal issues. The Shelter has banned her and she has a disturbing the peace charge as well. Now I have filled for full custody along with a protection order that will keep her away from my daughter. I'm really hurting that this has happened. Yet I'm grateful for the timing. There is no telling what this baby could have witnessed already or better yet what would have happened with her. I have gotten her a scholarship to enroll in this program. It's a daycare with a classroom setting. The hours are perfect for me as a single parent to maintain a good job and provide for her needs.
So If there is any way possible that I could be eligible for any assistance available from a non-profit. I would be so grateful. I wrote vehicle in the subject line because it's a definite issue that has put a strain on any progress that has come about. Please consider me and my babygirl. I am 41-year-old Mom of two amazing, smart, healthy kids Aiden is 13 years old & my daughter Ariana is 6 years old going on 13 and then back to 6. I lost my job almost a year ago and have been trying to maintain our household just like so many families that have been impacted this year. I live in Miami Florida.
I am emailing you because I desperately am in need of a dependable car to be able to take my children safely to school, practices and wherever else we need to go. For now, school so the most important thing. I have been driving around in a 2004 Toyota Corolla that my kids Grandma gave me after she bought herself a car.
Unfortunately, its falling apart and I have to literally get a jump almost every day for the past week because my battery and the cables are bad.
I am receiving Unemployment but with bill and everything else it has been very hard saving for a car.
I have asked local auto body shops if they can help with a non-profit or charity car. I will work or pay them slowly but I haven't had much luck. What breaks my heart the most is that in the morning as I am trying to start up my daughter is such an amazing soul that she helps as much as she can. But lately she has been telling me Mommy I wish I was rich so I can get you a car. Or asking Mommy when you are going to get a new car because this one is broken.
As I hold my tears I say baby the only thing that matters is that we have food, each other, love and are healthy. I always try to remind them that we are so blessed and that so many children and people do not even know what pizza taste like or coke and that we are so blessed to just have clean clothes and food.
If you have any programs or can point me in the right direction to a non-profit free car program, I would APPRECIATE anything.
I am willing to work for it pay in monthly installments until I can get back on my feet.
I have worked since I was 14 years old. I have had nice cars, run down cars, No car. I even have slept in my car. So, this isn't really for me well It is because I am the adult but more so that my children feel safe, and I feel safe driving them.
I know there are so many people that are in worse situation then me.
Anything that you can do to just help me either fix or get a car. I would be more then Thankful, but I promise to pay it forward.

I need help locating a vehicle from a non-profit organization. I have a car as of this point but it's not reliable. It's not running right and its falling apart. I have to bring my daughter from Decatur Michigan to Chicago Illinois to her doctor that specializes in her sickness. I need help quick. I am beyond desperate. Something that is reliable and sturdy. Hello my name is Timothy and I am desperately trying to find help on getting a car to get to work or I will lose my job. I live in New castle P.A. and need a car. I have tried everything to get help and I am a proud person and would not ask if I didn't need to provide for my family, we just keep looking things.
We recently lost our 6 month son due to Sid's then lost our home due to taxes. The only help I found was LCAP but you have to have a child and now I guess we do not qualify and I'm at my wit's end.
I am employed with ups and down but have to keep turning way jobs because I don’t have a ride and am in Jeopardy of losing them to because I just can't save enough money after bills and rent. Could somebody please tell me if there's any help we can get for a free car? A car would make the difference between life and death for my family. Thank you for your help.

As far as getting the vehicle fixed, there may be some agencies that can use volunteer mechanics to work on the car. But generally you will need to buy the parts for your car on your own. So it will cost you money. It may be better to look into a free charity car. While those agencies will also normally ask for contributions, you can get a new car rather than pouring money into a fixer upper that may just break down again in the future. So try that for help.

I really need a car but can't save up enough because I barely meet my monthly expenses each month. A car would help me so that I can get a better job and avoid walking an hour to and from work and school each day in the Texas heat. If you know of any car charities or bad credit auto loans I can get I would gladly appreciate it.

As I am sure you can imaging, free cars are very rare. There are some that churches or other charities may offer. They usually require someone to be working, which sounds like you are. But also sounds like you didn't use insurance, which will hurt your application for a new auto. But there is no harm in trying. Also ask the agencies for referrals to other programs. Hi, I'm a mother of a girl who is turning 3 pretty soon. I live with my boyfriend and his mother. His mother lives on SSI which she gets about 800/month. She covers the house bills, as we take care of the electric bills and the house is under her name. She nice enough to let us live with her but her patience is not enough. Not easy or many programs that provide a car. You can look into 1800 charity cars or programs like Way to Work. Also call around to non-profits and government programs. Find a listing of assistance programs in Utah. Local programs, including Davis County Utah, can be found from links midway down the page. Just really review our site.

My wife is a heart patient and we are in need of a vehicle I wouldnt care what it looks like as long as I can get her to the doctor apointments. If you need a car for a job or to maintain financial stability, this program may be able to offer a free car or really low interest rates on loans. Find more information on free cars and where to turn for support and/or advice. The program provides thousands of cars every year to people who need help or support. It is effective.

So is it car repairs or just need a car period? That zip code is for Tacoma Washington and Pierce County. Whether you need a new car or repairs matters as your options are different. If a new car try places like 1800 charity cars. Locate other Pierce County Washington assistance programs and ways to get help with bills, car repairs, rent, etc. A number of non-profits and aid organizations exist.

I know non-profits can provide cars for people to get to work, make a living, find a job, and more employment reasons. Some of the organizations that do that are 1800 charity cars, Ways to Work, and a non-profit called Opportunity Cars. So if you need the car for work, you may have some possibilities. however if you need the car for errands and for doctors appointments, that is another issues. Anyway, you can try those organizations. See if they can help you. Or also try calling your local community action agency.
