Need money in Richmond Virginia to pay my bills
I am reaching out for assistance with my rent due to loss of employment. I am having a financial crisis hardship burden.
I have been on prior installment agreement with my landlord when I were employed. I've applied for unemployment benefits, but the line is so hard to get through day to day. I have been under bankruptcy since the pandemic because I was not able to keep with the cost of living demands expenses daily prior but then I gotten furlough. It's been hard to make money and pay the bills ever since to recover from that impact. I am behind on rent and the current rent is approaching for September. So are my other bills. I cashed in everything I had with my prior employer exhausting any benefits. I take out a loan as well.
Understanding I am in Richmond in the Henrico County district BUT they DONT OFFER LITTLE TO ABSOLUTELY NO BENEFITS for residents who are struggling.
Fee amount needed for purpose:
*DPU department of utilities gas works:
Amount whatever is Feasible my fees estimate around 400.00
I've connected with social security and for Dominion Energy Power, they placed me on PIPP which is referring to an installment agreement. Senior connection said because of PIPP they can't help me. It's an Attention alert to pay now before a disconnect.
Amount due: 262.02.
*Rent: half have been paid on prior July and June. Current amount for September 1142.00 including the water bill (break down fees: rent 1055.00, 10% additional for late fees, water bill about 80 to 88 monthly with additional late fees) October is fast approaching and may become difficult to pay until i find employment. Depending on the wages I will make. I will be in debt until a few checks. I am late every month but run into hardship burden. I see on the website people possibly can donate money to other to pay the bills. Acts will not help until I have employment and can be able to pay half. Commonwealth Catholic Charities helped with last month and a portion of July because I paid some. The Salvation Army said they don't have funding nor Social Services.
Best description for the assistance:
I’m under Litigation, from a bankruptcy due to furlough in around 2019.
They caused a ripple effect. With the ongoing cost of living increase demands. I have yet to catch up with anything. Who won bills because of the litigation? In the amount of pay after taxes. It's not enough for essentials other bills. Like utilities, phone bill. Also, guess for traveling, pay for parking etc.
I suffer from depression; an anxiety and I sometimes am not able to make it to work with my conditions which lessons the pay. I have been seeking Employment opportunities while waiting on the decision from unemployment benefits. I need help with applying for disability with social security but they will take as long as Virginia unemployment benefits. I receive snap but it goes so fast because the cost of living increase and my diet is vegan. It reload in the 7th and was approved in September. I try my best to stretch out the food but it's not lasting. I apply everyday for employment and some say the hiring process can take 6 weeks possibly (VCU).
I am currently unemployed and seeking employment advancement opportunities within my experience field. I reached out to 211 for rental assistance , utilities and employment placement. I really need employment soon and money and financial counseling so I can learn when hard times as such come around.
Please don't let me be evicted of becoming homeless. If these corporations are receiving funding.
