My name is Jessica, and I need some kind of help, advice or list of resources that actually pertains to my situation. Less than a year ago I was working at the same job for three years, renting a house, had two cars and supported my boyfriend and three kids. In the blink of an eye, I lost my car, the house and had to move back to my boyfriend's mom's house with my family. My boyfriend blames me for everything and continues to tell me every day. I tell him we both contributed and if he would have helped bring in some kind of income things would have worked. He thinks he was owed money from me to work for watching his children. I can't keep trying to help him when I have my own problems and he doesn't respect me. Is there a program to help him become self-sufficient, do his own job applications and get some mental health treatment? I am trying to find employment but am six months pregnant. I am 6 miles from the closet bus at his mom's and his truck needs repairs which we have no money for. The arguing was getting out of control around the kids, so I had to leave and stayed with a friend. I can take the bus now but don't have money for passes. I need to see my kids without any comments from their dad. I took care of everything at home with the kids, so this is killing me. Is there a way to help him fix his truck and get him help with employment? If we can't get some help or advice, then our family is going to fall apart. I tried to get the kids and I in a shelter but never had a ride. Please let me know what we can do to either save my family or at least give my children the stable environment they need. Jessica

We have been struggling significantly while awaiting my Social Security Disability determination, which has been pending for nearly a year. Unfortunately, all personal support from friends and family has been exhausted, and we are now in a dire financial situation.
I have been unable to work due to severe health issues, including long-term complications from COVID-19 and diabetes, which have made mobility extremely difficult. My last attempt at employment was before I moved to Florida from Valley, Alabama, after my girlfriend’s father passed away. We came here to ensure that his belongings were not further taken amid ongoing probate proceedings.
We receive SNAP benefits, but they do not last the entire month. Additionally, our utilities are at risk of being shut off:

There are some programs in Fort Myers that provide financial help. We doubt for car tires, but maybe they have referrals or other ideas for you. As some organizations may offer help with bills. There are also clinics for Deanne and much more in the area. Locate help with bills in Fort Myers.

I need help with new tires for my car, as well as repairs due to an accident and also my auto loan. Also, the car in question, is a 2013 Chevy Equinox that I cannot afford to insure. As a result my license has been suspended and I am not able to renew my tags which means I am falling behind on my bills.
I am actively seeking employment and my minor son has a job at a fast food restaurant to try to make money to pay the bills and get food. We share the car but I'm terrified that the car will break down or blow a tire and cause personal injury.
I live in Fort Myers. I'm a single mother, my son's father has been deceased since 2022. I currently receive temporary rental and utility assistance from Our Florida. Additionally we receive food stamps and Medicaid.
